Nothing But A Body

Nothing But A Body 22 in x 30 in Oils & Charcoal 2010

Another in a series of anonymous figure paintings.

Eastwood

Eastwood 14 in x 17 in Oils & Ink 2010

My dad loves westerns, so growing up I had plenty of exposure to John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, saloons, and gun fighters.

Lynchian

Lynchian 14 in x 17 in Oils 2010

David Lynch is a very interesting sort, so I took a bit of a cue from him for this piece.

Night

Night 15 in x 22 in Oils 2010

I loved the book Night Elie Wiesel...well loved in a way that it was a hard read and the subject matter is difficult but loved because it was a such a good book. As disturbing as it is, the subject of the Holocaust has always interested...and yes I don't know what that says about me.

My Heart Beats On The Left

My Heart Beats On The Left 14.5 in x 18 in Oils 2010

More German text in my pieces, unless Google Translate let me down, it supposed to say "my heart beats on the left" and yes I just realized that the hand is on the right side...sigh.

Digital Dexterity

Digital Dexterity 18" x 20.5" Mixed Media 2010

There were a lot of things/materials going on in this piece: oils. watercolors, ink, etc.

Even Match

Even Match 8 in x 12 in Pen 2010

Just a fun little illustration. I'd like to do more of these but I also love to paint, torn!
